The Business and Commerce Action Group aims to help ensure Keyworth has a thriving Business and Commercial sector that meets the needs of the community.
We aim to achieve this by helping to:
- Maintain local and national business prescence in our community.
- Encourage new local and national businesses to locate in the village.
- Encourage a wide diversity of local shops of all types to improve the 'shopping experience'.
- Encourage a wide diversity of self-employment locally.
- Support local businesses and in turn seek their support for the village.
- Support local employment.
- Develop links to local schools and provide work experience locally.
- Encourage the use of local tradespeople.
- Explore the development of a local Farmers Market.

- Local politicians (MP, MEP, etc.) who can help place Keyworth on the political radar.
Business Survey
In addition to the household survey, the Business & Commerce Action Group conducted a survey of Keyworth businesses. The results of this Business Survey are available to view online.
